Barmaids Stick Together

One of the biggest pleasures and one of the scariest moments is when a friend asks you to be their wedding photographer.

This happened to me when my friend and fellow barmaid from Chats in Sunningdale, Adelina, asked me to take her photographs on the most special day of her life. At first I felt so honoured and happy but then the realisation sinks in. I was asked to take a friends photos!! What if something went wrong?! The pressure overwhelmed me.

However, once I recovered, I was pleased as punch to be asked. Adelina was such a laid back happy bride who wanted fun, natural and a true representation of the day. I was more than happy with this as she didn't want any posed, silly images that I don't like doing, such as the Bride and Groom hugging a tree.

Instead the day was a wonderful family filled day in the gorgeous setting of Northcote House. It was full of little hideaways where I could get some lovely intimate pictures of the newlyweds together, plus a huge hall where I could really get in with all the guests and snap some candid photographs.

The best part of the wedding came when Adelina showed me her shoes! I have never seen a Bride in such kick ass shoes!

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Thompson
